Day to Day itinerary
Day 1: Mombasa - Ngutuni Game Sanctuary
Leave Mombasa in the morning and drive to the Ngutuni Game Sanctuary. This is a journey that will give you a chance to take in the Kenyan landscape. Arrive at Ngutuni Lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Ngutuni is on the boarder Tsavo East National Park on the slopes of Sagala Mountains. Ngutuni Game Sanctuary is home for big lions and big herds of elephants, Giraffes, big groups of African water buffalos, Zebras also including the rare gerenuk and wild dogs.
Day 2: Ngutuni -Tsavo West
Wake up to an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast check-out and drive to Tsavo West National Park via the Mombasa - Nairobi road with game viewing en-route to Ngulia safari lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon safari game drive which includes a visit to the Rhino sanctuary for a chance to see the endangered black rhino among other wild animals of Tsavo West. Dinner and overnight in Ngulia safari lodge.
Day 3: Tsavo West-Saltlick
Early morning game drive in Tsavo West. After breakfast depart for Amboseli, via Mzima Springs to view hippo, crocodile and tilapia through an underground observatory. We continue to Taita hills Saltlick for a game drive until time for lunch at Taita hills Saltlick Lodge. After lunch, relax in the lodge until 4.00pm where you will proceed for evening game drive in the Saltlick game sanctuary. At 6.00pm you will then check in at Saltlick lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Taita Hills Saltlick - Mombasa
Day 2 of your 2 days Taita Hills Saltlick safari begins with an early morning breakfast then you proceed for early morning safari game drive. Return to the lodge for full breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for final game drive as you leave saltlick for lunch in Voi town. After lunch, the journey back to Mombasa begins and if you are interested, there is a chance to visit the traditional Masai village on the way back but at an extra cost. Arrival in Mombasa will be in the evening.
